Side note: the only good thing about this place is that they did get my children some clothing and I am very grateful for that. But you can't eat clothes and my children needed food that wasn't tanted

There is nothing Christian or godly about this place. The director is a human witch. She loves the idea of a shelter, but not helping people in need. She does a great job at exploiting people. The state pays a certain amount for each resident. Plus, they ask residents to donate a portion of their food stamps.....they have an EBT machine......why? Should families with children be housed with the addicted, single or any other situation that comes through the door? It's not safe. Do not send anyone here or even an animal. They profess Christianity but the all the helpers at the shelter are homosexuals. That's not a problem but Christianity isn't a cafeteria. Did I mention the bed bugs biting children? I got out. God remembered me. Nevertheless, I pray this prison closes it doors.

If I could give this place a negetive 5 stars I would. My children all three of them got food poisoning from the food here then the staff had the nerve to say that we could not bring in ouside food to feed them after they were better mind you my kids are acutally babies under 4. Then to top it all off they FORCE you to go to their church. I don't mind going to church but being FORCED TO GO is not right. I have a home church and felt very offended that they were basically saying you HAVE to go to their church. It's sort of like being in a CULT. They want you to eat their horrible food, you can't leave unless you have a car because you are in the middle of nowhere or you ask them to take you but it can only be the places of the approved list of places. I think the place is better sutied to be a nursing home. Everyone who comes here, they are adults mostly between 20s to 50s and I feel that if you are old enough to know when you need help and come to a shelter they should welcome you and help you in anyway they can. Here I feel that they are not caring kind people that you would typically meet in a shelter. Instead here you are treated like a child, almost bashed into beliving that you must have done something to displease the Lord because you are in this situation, you are dragged to church every Sunday and Wednesday and women's or men's church once a week in addition to that, forced to eat whatever they cook good or bad, forced to give all meds over to them and they tell you when you can take them like a child, they have their picks and chooses so you can very easily get into their bad graces, and to top it all off you are stranded in the middle of nowhere if you choose to leave. It is a place to live but is it worth your freedom, is it worth living like you are in prison???? ASK YOURSELF THIS BEFORE COMING HERE.
